gas tank question S60 2003

With my S60 2.4 I did the experiment; went down to "30 kms left". From 30 it jumped to "--" and I filled up with - when I remember cooretly - 73 liters. Anyway it was more than the specified max of 70 L.
You can trust the didgital reading, but remember it takes tha avarage of the last 30 kms. So, if you have been driving 80 km/h constant speed and it displays e.g. "100 km left" this is based on the last 30 km. If you then start driving in heavy city traffic, you will see a sudden decrease in how many kms (or miles) left.
