It sounds like we have the same problem.Researching the archives here may help you-it looks like sway bar links are the most likely culprit from other posts I have read. I have taken mine('94) in to the mechanic several times(needless to say, he can't get the car to make the noise)and still not fixed, they have checked the struts. I'm trying to figure out how to replace the sway bar links myself, the clunk/knock/rattle is getting progressively worse and is driving me nuts.

Good luck with yours. If you do get it fixed I'd be interested in how you did it.
