You'll have a better ride with smaller wheels that have "normal" tires with more sidewall. Many think that the 17s look cooler but the combo of large wheels and thin sidewall, low profile tires rides very rough in comparison so with them, you'll feel every crack in the road. Low profile tires also don't seem to wear as well, have a shorter lifespan plus cost more too.
