Brake pad replacement and fluid bleeding! 850

change pads first, then bleed system, if you have a C clamp then you can use it to squeeze the caliper piston back into the caliper and you will not need to bleed the system, unless you crack the lines or bleeder valves.

do the brakes feel spungy? wht are you going to bleed them?

I bought new Zimmerman cross drilled rotors and mintex pads from www.newandusedvolvoparts.com for like 119.95 plus UPS shipping. I really like them and the car stops better i believe.

the super blue fluid is said to be a good product, i just use a good brand Dot4 fluid from the local auto supply.

for a real difference in the feel of the brakes the way to go is with steel braided lines, they are far superior to the oem.

you can alos get a brake bleeder from IPD that uses air pressure from your spare tire to bleed the system.
