removing door panels S70

who goes by Vitor apparently. he posted the same info... very usefull!!!
" The author is an actual (and apparently brilliant and highly organized) Volvo tech who has had mercy on the rest of us."
---Being half Swedish I can assure you they were. ;-)
""Were they DRUNK when they designed this???""

---- the inperative window doesnt work period I suspect the window lock function
is stuck on somehow or the motor is TU.
""BTW, does your window operate on the door switch?""
--- I will clean the contacts while I am in there anyway.. sounds like a good idea.
"" Radio Shack's overpriced contact cleaner.""
Well my daily driver is a 74 bus which always has tools in it!;-) The S-70 I was
hoping to be a trouble free car but that hasnt been the case so I get to work on
it too.
"" I keep a spray can of Radio Shack contact cleaner in the car. I think it's the second most essential Volvo tool after the Mini-Maglite.""
---I have a "fleet" that I get to work on these days the 74 bus being the least
trouble. I have a 74 bus/ 98 Jetta VR6 with chk engine light on most of the time/
a Volvo 240 wagen(daughter's) which really likes my attention... and the S-70 which seems to like to drip oil from somewhere in the back of the engine.. havent nailed
it down.. very slight leak. The rear passenger side window is inop.. the front passenger door lock doesnt respond to the key or the remote.. the locks on both front doors dont unlock with the remote but the driver's side and back doors do
open with the key... front right fog/driving light is dead from "someone" running
the whole works up on a high curb.. anyway it's all fun and good as long
as they all start.. run down the road.. and stop when you want them to... These
are all just minor irritations.
