I'm the one that repairs the controllers.
I have repaired about 6 for members of this board.
I received one controller last Saturday that was opened with a screwdriver, or something similar. The unit is probable damaged beyond repair now.
The dremel will get the box open, but sealing will be a challenge.
To work in the circuits you need at least a 10X magnification loupe and a heat controlled soldering iron, not to mention good pulse.
