A/C cuts out on me 850 1996

I don't agree it's low on gas. Mine does the same, and fully charged (and new evaporator less than 1 year ago).

When the AC blows hot, look and see if the AC compressor is still spinning. You'll probably find it's not. Then, if after a few minutes with a AC switch off, it turns back on again, problem lies most probably with the compressor. I tried shorting out the pressostat, but to no avail. See my post 30th June. All is explained.........
