Fixed Seatback Cable but need some help 850 1993

I fixed my seatback this afternoon, i did it the free way, took off the seat cover, unscrewed the 8mm screws in the plat holding the cable in the motor. Then I found by pushing the square drive shaft as far as it will go back into the cable and then inserting the cable back in the motor and operating the switch the seatback gained movement again up and down. So I'm psyched saved myself a bunch of $$,

Here's my question: now how do i get it so i can use it without opening the seat again (i havent put it back together yet, its still in the driveway), like secure the cable so it works while im driving for instance? Thanks for any help, I'll post this over on VS's maintenance board too. Thanks.
