Oil being 'pushed' out of oil fill cap 850 1997

Someone else mentioned replacing the rubber seal inside the cap. I had the same problem with the oil leaking around the cap and replacing the rubber seal inside the cap was the correct fix. You don't need to buy a new cap, just the rubber seal inside. A new cap was $24 USD the rubber seal was only $2.50. When I took the old seal out, it crumbled apart.
