Tranny S80 1999

'99 S80, first year and known for tranny problems. 75K miles is not unusual for a "normal lifespan" and chances are good that you'll need a reman trans. Volvo won't cover it no matter what as you're too far out by mileage.
The trans runs about $2K and 15 hours labor to replace it, not cheap.

On a brighter note, you might be lucky and maybe it's something repairable but don't be surprized if you need a new reman trans.
