I have really poor "out of the hole" acceleration on my V70R. I can put my foot to the floor and for the first 25 feet or so (crossing two lanes of traffic at an intersection) it crawls away from the start as if my mother were driving it. It's so bad I can be the third car in traffic at the light and floor it for two car lenghts and no one suspects a thing. It also boggs down for a split second when shifting into second under heavy acceleration so it's not just a turbo lag issue. I've driven other turbos that giddyup just fine out of the hole.
I've had it in to the dealer to look at it. They found nothing but charged me $124 for a transmission software upgrade that didn't help.
It is a certified pre-owned 1999 V70R with 63,000 miles. It was a lease return with full maintenance records. I have had the 60K service done, they said it was in great shape.
I've searched the forum but haven't found this problem mentioned. Probably didn't look hard enough because I'm betting I'm not the first that's seen this and that it's been covered here.
Thanks in advance for any advice you all can give.
