Hi All,
Our car is a 1998 S70 with roughly 26k miles on the odo. I brought the car in for a check engine light. After being informed of the diagnosis and I had the problem repaired. The write-up read:
Retrieved fault code 612 for fuel vapor leak. Performed internal leak test - diagnosed leak from hose at evap canister for fuel vapor recovery system - replaced leaky hose - performed 2nd leak test. System passed - cleared fault code and reset light.
After the repair and after a few days of driving the car I noticed the A/C taking a looong time to cool and the compressor cycling every 5 seconds.
I don't know where the evap canister for fuel recovery system is located but is this in any way related to the A/C compressor now cycling or is this purely coincidental?
Thanks to anyone who can help shed some light.
-Brian
