Hi,

Is replacing the mass air sensor a simple "pop out & replace" deal? One of the dealers that I had called, told me that the car would require a software download to recognize the new sensor. They said they will also remove the check engine light. He said this process will probably cost me about $75-$100.

I thought when you reset the check engine light with an OBD-2 reader, the ECU starts pulling new information from the sensor. Any details?
