We are, sort of, regulars on this board however there are people who post their problems, read replies and move on. One good example, you will notice, is same questions popping up repeatedly.

For the benefit of infrequent users, it is highly helpful that they get as much feedback as possible from owners of 850 cars.

Like any other manufacturers Volvo has issues (look at ’93 850, how they botched up transmission purchase from Aisin Warner, Japan), may be not as much but the user should have the information/opinion to discern that.

p.s. How is your transmission cooler job coming? I posted a comment on your message. I remember you are doing it the through way.

I am getting a thinner cooler (5.5” x 11” x .75” with 3/8” hose barb, low pressure drop (LPD), compare to fin & tube architecture, and 16,000 GVW rating) and mount it in front of the radiator (make sure leave at least 1/4" gap).
