to buy or not to buy? S70 2000

No.
Postive: comfort, saftey, style (hot doctors dig it .. my wife...)

Negitive: $1400 last month, AC compressor, o-rings, and... oh hell I've forgotten the last one. They all run together. Other repairs, two engine mounts, two contorller arms, thermostat, all four rotors replaced at some time or another, a few other minor things. Did I mention its only a 2000?

It's a sad sistuation really. I want to love the car, but my first two cars were Japanese makes. (94 nissan truck, 97 Honda accord) I put massive miles on both with no issues at all. Both models have legendary reliabilty. I've been spoiled.

My first born will get the S70, God willing it will live that long. The next car will be another Japanese vehicle... unless volvo can turn the trend with the XC90 (wife likes it too... :| ).

My opinion.
JH
