AWD vs. XC V70-XC70 1998

HI,

I'm new to the 850s and V70s.

Is there a difference between the AWD models and XC models in terms of mechanical systems?

I obviously see the trim package difference.

I'm looking at a V70 R AWD and it have a really bad vibration in the front that starts at about 55MPH and just gets worse as you climb to 70MPH. It doesn't go away either. Any feedaback about what I might be looking at for this symptom?
