Stay away from these unless you (A) know for certain the history of this car in some detail and (B) can afford to change four tires at a time whenever one goes bad. This car has an unforgiving bevel gear and you can ruin it by riding on tires of varying tread depth, or driving for more than a mile or two on the emergency 'donut.' It's extremely expensive to repair the bevel gear if it goes bad.
One person I know removes the shaft to the rear for 8 months of the year, then puts it back in when he mounts four matched snow tires in December.
