I'm experiencing the same thing, with the same frequency. I haven't changed the cap, though, as I recall reading on one of the forums (here or Swedespeed) that one of the emissions control valves is most commonly responsible for this code. If I'm remembering correctly, it's a very cheap valve -- about three bucks -- so I'm not going to start throwing money at the problem until I do some more research.

When I've found the thread that I think I've seen out there, I'll let you know.
