burned out bulbs S70

As a new Volvo owner, I've been surprised by the number of brake and tail lights my S70 is going through. Is this normal for Volvo or does my car have an electrical problem? I've replaced 4 bulbs in the last 3 months. Seems abnormal based on other cars I've owned. Any advice?
