Rear Fog Lights V70-XC70 1998

The notification is for rear foglight, not bulb out or low washer fluid? (These lights are very close to the RFL caution lamp.) Sounds like a wiring fault - a short circuit closing the loop and turning on the light. A visual inspection of the wiring would be in order. Also - try removing and re-installing the lamp.Or replacing it....
