Gas cap 850 1996

My neighbor with a 96 850T, a friend at work with a 98 S70 T5, and my recently aquired 95 850 GLT, all failed the gas cap test in Washington State. A dealer told the S70 owner that it was usually the spring inside that hung-up and to just wack it hard on a table or bench. He did so and took it back for a retest and it showed good! Try it and save the $.
