What kind of problems do you have? Has the fluid ever been changed? If not, a change has been found to cure a lot of problems--inexpensive, and won't cause any damage.

I suspect a radiator replacement is considerably less that the drop in value driving a new car off the lot. And probably less than a couple months car payments.
