ABS/tracs light on relates to the famous ABS module failure, expensive to fix.
$7500 is too much money for a '96 with that many miles, but if they fix the problem and give you a 12 mos warranty, it's reasonable.
I would go for a turbo '97 or newer with less than 100K miles.. There are plenty out there. Look and you"ll find.
I just bought a '98 v70GLT (light turbo) loaded with 75K miles for $10K.
