The oil blowing out could be a blacked flametrap building up crankcase pressure?
The remote door controls do die...they should initially try reprogramming the remotes, then get two new ones and program those in.
With the number of 850s out there, I wouldn't buy one with faults...the last owner has obviously got rid of it for some reason and left these faults, so why should you buy into trouble?
