Auto Transmission - Clearing Codes 850 1995

CEL = Check Engine Light

I've never heard that the ECU remembers multiple occurances. In any case, clearing the codes should clear all occurances. If code(s) remain, either it's not clearing correctly or the problem recurs immediately. It sounds like you may need a VADIS reset. Also, suggest you post this problem over on Volvospeed. Rich K (Bay 13) may have some answers.
