Sold my V70 V70-XC70 1998

Im sorry to hear about your bad luck, for me I had a 86 760 totaled at 220,000 miles. We have a 95 850 wagon that has 183,000 miles and is still a kick in the pants to drive. we just bought a 2000 V70 XC . I have to say I did avoid the 98 and 99 models.

There are two very anouying problems thought with the 850

1 The AC / Heater is not working and have had 4 visits to try and fix it.

2 this one is my falt for picking out this particular model. It has the full T5 package less the engine, so nedless to say my wife has gone through 4 rims and tires at 250 a shot. But I solved this by getting her the XC :)
