I have knowticed that a LOAD RESISTOR Kit is avalible on this web site. To fool the bulb sensor. The resistor in series only will consume the same amount of power as an incandesant. This works I have done that as well, but one is still using the same amount of electricty. And the resisors get hot! so adding an extra heat sink and locating them is a pain.
It is a good idea but in my opinion placing LED lamps in the car shows for low voltage lighting concept.

I got my lamps here. a bit expensive but quality.
