My bulb out sensor flashes intermently when I hit the brake pedal. It even does it as I’m taking my foot off the pedal, but more often as I press it.
The dealer has tried to fix it several times, but of course they can never recreate it in the shop.
i. They've tested and cleaned all of the sockets, and checked the connections.
ii. They’ve replaced the bulbs in both sides. I've also replaced the bulbs myself.
iii. Even the service manager tried to help by swapping out his own sockets from his S70 and putting them into my car.
What else is in the circuit that could cause this problem? Could the switch on the brake pedal be the issue?
The problem appears to be more prevalent when it is cold or there is rain.
Any thoughts?
