O2 Sensor Replacement 850 1996

Jot,

I replaced with a Bosche aftermarket O2 sensor. It was specificaly for the Volvo application and included the special BNC (?) slide pin connector. However, I did not run an extra wire extension that you mentioned. Any additional information on this "wire extension?" The connector had 3- 4 conductors attached. Is the "Wire extension" you mention, one of these?

I had the Rich Fuel Error code (PO171) right before I renewed the O2 sensor. Do you experience with this.
