HELP! Car stuck in Park! 850 1994

Had a similar problem with 940 recently.

But, my 940 had more symptoms - screeching noise and no headlights in addition to stuck in park.

It turned out to be the key stuck in 'start' position and not coming back to one notch back. I had it towed for nothing.

When you turn the key, make sure the key 'bounced' back after engine starts. If not, gently turn back. Hope it helps.
