The 'R' is a "niche market". A safe, green, well-designed family car ought to be right up their alley. The V40 is too small for a family. I can afford the V70... I just want a practical interior material that will survive the life of the car without becoming a dirty rag... and without the moonroof. The vinyl interior in my '87 240 has faired much better than the cloth seats in my '99 V70.

Headroom is there... but if you bump the headliner with your head (this happens), the moonroof frame does not give.
