I did this a few months ago on my 94 850. I was given a used Alpine CD Changer but it didn't come with the 15ft. DIN cable. I had to order the vol-alp adapter (I got it from PIE instead of Crutchfield) and then had to order the DIN cable from Alpine. The vol-alp adapter is only about 6in long and is used to connect the original Volvo head unit which has a mini-din to the larger Alpine cable.
