Service reminder V70-XC70 1998

On my 99 V70 I just turn to the ignition to the position before start, then push and hold in the trip odometer reset switch. When the service light starts to blink, I just start the car. That resets the light. Hope that works for a 98. If not, I bet you can get the dealer to reset it for nothing.
