T6 Newbie Question..... comments welcome S80 2004

Thank you Thank you for the comments. Now I feel more comfortable with Volvo's turbos =)

One more question...or should I say it's a "myth". Do turbos tend to "lose" power as they age? I know all engines may lose a bit power as they get old, but turbos age MUCH faster. I heard turbos start to get weak after 2-3 years (from new). Is this true?
