When I changed mine, the only problem that I encountered was the bracket's nut and the bolt. The nut and bolt were rusted so bad that PB blaster didn't work. The nut, which was welded to the bracket, broke off from the bracket and turned with the bolt.
I ended up cutting the old bolt to get the bracket free. Then I bought a new bracket and new bolt from dealer. The seperate the fuel line from the filter I used a open end wrench (forgot the size, something like 13mm or less) to pry the fuel line away from the filter. It worked perfectly. I did relief the line pressure via the valve first.
