If your filter has been changed regularly you won't have a problem with the nut on the bracket. It is really really simple and the connections just pull right out. Nothing compared to the old 240 series. Just use the caps from the new fileter to cover the ends on the old one so you don't have too bad a mess. Once you do it, you will wonder why you haven't changed it regularly before. Every 20K would be perfect.
