"The person at the Autozone thought it might have to do an air pump that worked with a load leveling supsension ??? - "
---All I can say to that is .. WOW! Load leveling? ROTFLMAO!
Secondary air intake pump is an emmissions related device. It kicks on
soon after you start driving and forces "extra" air into the system which
heats up the cat. convertor quicker.. This insures that the Cat burns off
more in the exhaust than it would if it were allowed to heat up slowly.
This is not a driveability issue and is a common problem with
Volvo/Volkswagen/Audi to list a few.
