Thanks for the info Jen and Axel. I will have the air pump and SAS valve checked out at a local shop.

For future reference, I found these instructions on "volvospeed"

Yeah, I was scratching my head on that one too. But I am new to Volvos so.... The folks at AutoZone have been very helpful always..
