OK, this is take 2. The First time I used some Spring-Lock Couplers that didnt even budge the lines. I see a slot on the 'Coupler' but not sure just what this is for.
I've tried to yank off the Evaporator to AC line, by pulling apart, then wedging a vise lock and finally using a wrench to push in as described by the cover, but the plastic lock looks like it would sooner break than separate the hose. This seems almost impossible. Can anyone who has done it please explain SPECIFICALLY how to wedge them apart and what tools were used. No generalities please.
I almost got my Evap replaced today :( Toiled and got the entire instrument panel out, the white evap housing was coming out save for those darn A/C lines that sealed my fate and now its another week of driving in 80+ heat !!!
