I did mine recently after about 3 years and 140,000 miles - it looked like crap. In my case small leak where I drip out about a pint a month was probably a good thing as I have to regularly add a little fresh. Even so, much happier now and myt 93 drives like it used to. I would suggest doing regularly.

Simple if you do the flush using method taking upper hose off radiator and drain/add/drain/add etc.

Also cheap - ATF about $14 for case of 12 qts at Sam's Club. I'll probably do a flush about every 30k miles now and depending on how things go either stay with dino or switch to synth.
