Panel Lights - Bulb Failure or Fuse ? S70

Thanks for the info jda2000.
How would I remove the switches? Do I have to take out the driver side kick panel and get behind the dash somehow and push em out? Or is there a way to grab the switch from up front and yank it out?
Sorry for the naive question, but I am new to the Volvo.
