The S80 T6 is a beautiful powerful car, BUT

It's a very electronically complex car, with many computer modules and electronic gizmos that require software upgrades and that makes it a dealer only service, this makes repairs to the S80 very expensive.

The '99 is particularly prone to repeated electronic gremlims, with repeated visits to the dealer for big $$$.

Use the archives and read about frequent problems with the S80.

If I were you, I would pass.
