Yes ... but in heavy traffic you have no time to do that .. we rely heavily on the use of mirrors out here in Cali ... otherwise your gonna be stuck trying to figure out what to do next when that crunch happens becuase you were not looking in the right direction.. Also turning your head has a tendency of making the vehicle move in that direction ..can't really do that in a traffic jam out here.
