If you only make one improvement to the car get the E-codes and Sylvania VisionPlus Bulbs.

The difference is amazing and you won't feel like you're outdriving your headlights anymore. Also, if you're older and your vision is not so good (like mine) the increased lighting on the road surface is a real safety advantage.
