This seems to be the best route to go. No need to go through the incredible hassle of pulling the ECU and shipping it two ways, and waiting three days. Plus, it's reversible, so it can be set back to stock settings.

Check out the attached link, it's got a graphic on what the unit looks like, and a chart showing power ratings across the Volvo line.
