I use the volvo coolant in both of my cars. Never had a problem
related to it. If you have a dealer close by then use it. You
don't need a lot so cost should not be an issue.

If no close dealer, then I'd use another source without hesitation.

If you are concerned about the environment then have it tested. It may
not need to be changed. Volvo says you don't have to change it under
normal use (that's another debate). But long life coolant certainly
is the greener choice.
