Water pump question S70 2000

The t-belt tensioner is always suppose to be replaced with the t-belt at 105K miles as stated in your maintenance book.

As for the water pump, unless it's leaking there's no need to replace it. They usually never leak. If it was leaking and the guy doing the t-belt saw it leaking then but failed to tell you at that time, I'd say the labor is HIS problem unless you declined the repair at that time.
