When I had my timing belt done I went ahead and had the water pump done at the same time as I didn't want to have to have it all taken apart again.
Since yours is already done and your waterpump isn't leaking I would let it be. If it starts to leak or you hear it failing then you will have to pay anyway to have it done.
I wouldn't waste the money to have it done now. I would have it changed when you do the timing belt next time if the original pump is still there. The OEM pump is the way to go.
Either way, if your water pump DOES fail in the future, spend the couple extra bucks and have a new timing belt put on it and go 105K from that point.
I have never heard of a new timing belt causing the water pump to fail though.
Hope this Helps
