Hey guys, thanks for your help but I'm afraid the ac has crapped out. after posting charged system to 30 psi worked fine than after siting for five days freon is gone. Right in the middle of 95f degree weather. But I tell ya one thing, there is no way I'm gonna pay any one 2 grand to do "anything" as long as I have 2 hands ad the right tools. I don't believe you need special tools to do this core replacement right? Just some patience and lots of time right? does any one know of detailed pics and destructions for this job? I'm gonna do this!!!!!!Gotta suck it up!!!! manthissucks........... 'sigh'
