Bill -- I don't know the answer to your question; I've got a 95 855, but I've never had to face this repair. I'd suggest that you call IPD and ask for advice. They sell the parts, they've got the technical support behind the parts. That's part of what you're paying for when you purchase from them; might as well take advantage of it.
